We want you...to be our friend. We can never have too many friends...in fact, we’d like a few more! Newport Arts Festival is looking for a few good friends. Each year we spend many, many months planning this special event that supports artists, musicians, and ultimately all those involved with Looking Upwards. That’s a lot of people. At Looking Upwards, the arts are important to us – but what is most important is our mission - supporting people with disabilities and children with diverse needs to live fulfilling lives. Each year over 500 people from Newport County, and across the state of Rhode Island, participate in services from Looking Upwards. We not only help people to meet their needs, we help them to fulfill their dreams. You can help us to continue meeting needs and fulfilling dreams; every dollar donated helps us to do more. Newport Arts Festival is produced by Looking Upwards, Inc. as our cornerstone fundraising event. But, unlike many other “fundraisers” that you may attend, you can bring the kids, and wear denim if you’d like. Plus it won’t break the bank. Held annually at the end of August, Newport Arts Festival features over 65 artists, two full days of live music by acclaimed performers and activities and entertainment to spark young imaginations.
